He Did It! American Idol 2008

Hubby and I had made our bet after the Top 12 and my favourite bet was David C and Syesha. But since, I made the rules that hubby can only bet for boys and me for girls, so hubby went to David C and Michael John and I went for Syesha and Carlyn. So, I guess hubby had won our £100 betting money, lol.

Anyway, it was a big night for the 2 David but only one of them made to the Victory and it's Big David. I think Cook surely deserves the American Idol 2008 title. I liked him from the day one when he rocked the stage with his own version of "happy together". He is going to be a star bigger than Kelly, Carrie or Daughtry. I like the two David but it is only one slot for the winner I'm afraid and America had finally decided and crown David Cook last night as an American Idol 2008.

Archuleta is a sweet kid with an amazing voice but Cook was far more versatile. Both are amzing singers no doubt ... but Cook took risks and tried varied stuff, whereas Archuleta seemed more like a slow, romantic singer. Little David had a sweet voice and it was good enough for ballads. but the way cook brought a range to his voice was amazing throughout this competition.his improvisations were phenomenal and he is undoubtedly the deserving winner. I am happy that the teens did not out vote him just because of the looks of Archuleta. Cook will be one of the best idols we are going to see. He is sure a hot and sexy, lol.
